INTERVIEW:ย

Q:

ย Ada, when did you start training? How all this started?

A:ย I donโ€™t remember exactly, but I was little, then my adventure started. My parents sent me to acrobatic gymnastic classes just for fun. I could swim a bit then, and it was possible to train diving in the same club so I tried. This is how it began. I remember when I jumped from a 3 metres springboard for the first time, it was like a cat-jump!ย J

– I was 4 years old.

Q:ย

What is your favourite dive?

A:ย I likeย a reverse dive tuck most, because it is easy for me.

Q:

What is your biggest dream if we talk about diving?

A:

Of course, to go to Olympics one day and win a gold medal ๐Ÿ™‚

Q:

What do You like most in your trainings?

A:

I like my friends from a club. And I like I can train, be fit and I can win medals and get sweets ๐Ÿ™‚

Q:

What are you most afraid of?

A:

When I have to try a new dive for the first time.

Q:

What is you biggest success?

A:

ย 1st place in total classification of Grand Prix Poland in 2019. I got a beautiful Cup ๐Ÿ™‚

Q:

Who would you like to be in the future?

A:

I love babies, so maybe I will be a teacher, a trainer or I will write fairy tales!

Q:

What is your biggest challenge now?

A:

I can dive from 3m springboard and 5m platform, so I want to try 7 metres. I don’t think about higher ones now ๐Ÿ™‚

Q:

And what do you think about high-diving?

A:

I think it is really scary ๐Ÿ™‚

Q:

And what do high-divers feel in your opinion?

A:

I think it easy for them, because they got used to it, for them it’s like a jump from 1 metre but for me it’s scary! ๐Ÿ™‚

Q:

Is there anything that helps you during competition?

A:

Yes, sweets and candies from my parents! And I always get a new Mad Hopper Swimsuit for competitions from my parents – it helps me because I feel good then and itโ€™s like my lucky charm! ๐Ÿ™‚

Q:

When You are standing on a springboard, what are you thinking about?

A:

I am thinking about my fear a bit, about a dive a bit. In Czestochowa at KB Pool, I have my favourite things I always look at! It helps!

Q:

What would You like to tell children who want to try diving?

A:

I should tell the truth? It is scary a bit! ๐Ÿ™‚ But it is also a great fun and I have great friends in my club! ๐Ÿ™‚

Q:

Have You got any idols?

A:

I like Ania Bader very much! Ania Bader and Kris Kolanus once visited us and trained with us in Czestochowa. It was fun. I got an autograph from Ania on my club T-Shirt ๐Ÿ™‚

Q:

Thank You very much Ada, all the best to You.

A:

Thank You! ๐Ÿ™‚
