Anna was born in 1983 in Mutlangen/Germany. From early childhood on she loved sports and exercise. When she discovered diving at the age of 13 she had already been performing in national competitions as a gymnast. After that Anna became a springboard and platform diver for many years until 2005 when she eventually took part in her first ever High Diving event. Since then this sport has a grip on her. Following her passion opened many doors… After numerous victories at the WHDF European Championships she got the chance to perform for several years in the then world’s biggest aquatic show production in Macau/China called The House of Dancing Water by Franco Dragone. In 2013 the first ever Red Bull event for women was put on stage in Malcesine/Italy. She took the victory! The same year the also first ever FINA High Diving World Championships took place in Barcelona where she jumped on the podium to win the Bronze medal. After that she was invited to be part of the judging panel of Belgiums famous Splash show “De grote Sprong”. After other appearances in press and media, more competitions followed where she represented the German national team at the World Cup and World Championships in Kazan 2014 and 2015. Her best result was the Silver medal at the FINA World Cup in Cozumel/Mexico 2015. Besides her sports career she decided to pass a formation as a secondary school teacher for English, Spanish and Geography. Like this she found a way of combining her ambition for sport with an independent professional career.She obtained her diploma in summer 2016

  • 3rd Place at the Red Bull Cliff Diving stop in Italy, Portugal and Bosnia 2017
  • 2013: Bronze medal FINA World Championship in Barcelona
  • 2016: Founded the brand Mad Hoppers (Events, Swimwear, Workshops, High Diving courses for the Swimming German Federation)
  • 2018: appointment to the FINA Athletes Committee
