THE CRIMEA HIGH DIVING WORLD CUP 2020

THE CRIMEA HIGH DIVING WORLD CUP 2020

The Only Official Cliff Diving Event of 2020, THE CRIMEA HIGH DIVING WORLD CUP 2020

Took Place Last Weekend in Yalta.

…and left audiences on spot and on line in awe.

The beautiful competition impressively demonstrated the flawless shape of the World’s top athletes – in spite of most pools being closed all over the globe and scheduled team training reduced to a minimum due to Covid-19. The motivation and perseverance it takes to keep training against all odds and to pull out highly difficult skills of the risky height of 27 meters after such a long break makes it very clear:

No excuses, anything is still possible.

This little photo report is a big shout out to all the divers participating and also to the organisers Anri Kanunov, Artem Sylchenko and Andrej Rublev for a great event that brings back hope for the next season.

“Next year, our new project will commence – the High Diving Russia World Series. Three events, each with their own individual winner, and an overall series winner, have been included in the Ministry of sportsCalendar of international competitions … We want to be the first country on the globe to create a world series in such a thrilling sport as high diving,” Kanunov commented.

The opening competition of the series is slated to be held in Crimea, with the remaining two events planned in Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow, the federation vice-president added.
